JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Analyst (Technical) required by a professional services firm of around 200 people who is replacing its CRM. It wants a hands on Business Analyst to lead the business side of the move, then help shape how the firm uses technology, including AI, for years to come. Is ut the sole Business Analyst in an IT department of 6 There’s no programme office and no layers of sign off. You’ll work directly with the Head of IT and senior people across the business, and you’ll see the results of your work every day. What you’ll be doing ·Leading the business side of a CRM migration: discovery, requirements, process mapping, data mapping, testing and go live ·Working closely with the IT team and suppliers, and translating between them and the business ·Getting your hands dirty with the data, using SQL, Excel or low code tools when the job needs it ·Identifying practical uses of AI and automation, and helping colleagues adopt them ·Owning analysis end to end, from the first workshop to training users after launch What we’re looking for ·Business analysis experience on at least one CRM or core system implementation or migration ·A background in a small or mid sized organisation, or as the sole analyst in a team, where you owned the whole piece ·Comfort with technical detail: you can query data, read a data model and challenge a developer ·Good judgement and a calm, practical manner with non technical people ·Experience in legal or professional services is a bonus, not a requirement Why this role ·Real ownership and visible impact in a firm small enough to know everyone ·A modern technology agenda, including AI, with backing from the top ·Hybrid working, with an office that is easy to reach from South East London and Kent If you’ve been the person who quietly made a system change work in a smaller organisation, we’d like to hear from you.
