The office is a short walk from Euston. This is a practical, operational role. You'll be the escalation point between the Service Desk and the Senior Infrastructure Engineers, and you'll own problems through to resolution. The estate Around 1,350 Windows 11 endpoints managed through Intune, with patching through Action1. You'll also work with Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID. The network runs on Cisco switching, Meraki wireless, Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Cisco Firepower/ASA VPN. Monitoring is through CheckMK and FortiAnalyzer. What you'll do Run Intune compliance, configuration, app deployment and MDM/MAM policy. Manage identity in Entra ID, including Conditional Access, app registrations, licensing and authentication issues. Administer Teams telephony and call routing. Make routine VLAN, switch port and approved firewall rule changes. Diagnose connectivity, wireless, VPN and performance faults. Support Windows Server and Active Directory, and keep the runbooks current. Help the Service Desk improve its first line diagnosis. What you'll bring Strong Intune, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration. A solid grasp of Conditional Access and identity security. Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware vSphere. Practical PowerShell. Sound networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs) and time on enterprise switches and firewalls. A security mindset covering least privilege, MFA, change control and application control. You'll need to explain technical issues clearly to anyone. Useful, not essential CCNA or FCP/NSE4.
