Service Delivery Manager offering up to £36,000 required by a reputable educational establishment based in Hampton. Within this role, the Service Delivery Manager will provide support to teaching and non-teaching staff as well as students, taking the lead in network and infrastructure management. The Service Delivery Manager will have an in-depth knowledge of the support of Active Directory, VMWare, networking infrastructure, VLANs, Office 365 and Exchange.
Day to day, the Service Delivery Manager will take care of the configuration and maintenance of servers and network infrastructure including upgrading and troubleshooting. They will also be the go-to member of staff for the of the VMWare and Remote Desktop software and MS Office 365 Education and Active Directory local and Azure based networking. They will manage the deployment of SIMS and provide support to the data management team as well as the basic upkeep of the OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams files. Upcoming projects that the successful applicant will be directly involved in include completing the migration from the legacy research machines domain and servers to a newly implementing Active Directory domain.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in support infrastructure and network within a public sector or highly regulated environment would be extremely beneficial.
- Adept in the support of VMWare, Firewalls (Sonicwall), MS 365 (Education), Active Directory, MS OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience with the deployment of SIMS or a similar system.
- Ability to deal with issues escalated from the helpdesk including issues around hardware and printer/photocopier support
