Support Technician paying up to £28k is required by an SME working within the financial sector. The medium sized organisation is now making an investment in its IT team due to the rapid expansion of the company. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional who is looking to grow together with the business and develop their skills and expertise within the financial industry on the way. The Junior IT Technician will be part of an IT team of 5 supporting an average of 100 users.
Day to day, just a few of the Junior IT Technician’s tasks will include, assisting in setting up new and current workstations, aiding in printer and scanner set up and maintenance, configuring software and keeping communication with users and data suppliers. Once the Junior IT Technician has settled into the role, they will be given the opportunity to get their teeth into programming and hardware planning and management.
- Familiar with supporting a Windows environment
- Skilled in hardware support, configuration, and setup
- Able to provide MS Office 365 support and administration
- Has experience in Active Directory, Powershell, VMWare
- Has knowledge of basic networking, DNS and DHCP
