IT Technician required by a reputable and fast paced organisation within the legal sector. The IT Technician will be supporting around 50 end users across two offices based in the North East providing hardware, AV, printer and telephony support, both hands on and remote on a 1st line basis.
Day to Day, the IT Technician will be reporting into the IT Manager and contributing to the business continuity of the IT infrastructure. They will support configuration and setup of hardware and software, ensure that all equipment within the office is of working standard (resolving or reporting any issues if need be) and work closely with 3rd party suppliers to maintain IT systems and equipment. The IT Technician will also have exceptional communication skills and be able to operate in a calm and efficient manner within a highly demanding environment.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
Experienced in providing general desktop, server, storage and networking support within a Windows environment
Familiar with Active Directory, Hyper-V, DHCP, DNS, SQL Server and desirably Exchange and Mimecast
Ability to support VoiP systems (Mitel)
Previous experience within a private sector environment would be extremely beneficial
