Application Analyst, offering up to £32k, required by a software solutions organisation working within the finance sector. The Application Analyst will monitor queries coming into the helpdesk from the organisation’s customers in regard to application installation, documentation, configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution.
The Application Analyst will be comfortable in a helpdesk environment and highly skilled in Excel and XML. They will have previous knowledge of application installation and configuration and be responsible for aiding clients in this daily. The Application Analyst will also work with project teams to test fixes performed on the software including the rejection of fixes.
Relevant Skills and Experiences:
- Skilled in providing 1st line application support preferably within a financial environment
- Knowledgeable in application installation, configuration, problem analysis and resolution
- Ability to monitor, control and support service delivery in the form of ensuring systems, processes and methodologies are being followed.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to support and guide end users of all technical abilities
