2nd Line Support Technician (Fluent French Speaker) offering up to £29,000, required by an expanding Business Solutions company based in Reading. The 2nd Line Support Technician will be responsible for the support of all client technology services that the organisation has provided and contributing to hardware maintenance.
Day to day, the 2nd Line Support Technician will be working with clients, suppliers and installers to identify and resolve issues with any PC and Laptop hardware and any software problems. They will provide support via telephone, email and video call and escalating the issue to the right member of staff when necessary. There will be mobile device management work and troubleshooting of content management related issues such as Magicinfo and Media4Display, so any experience with these would be beneficial.
This is a role where the 2nd Line Support Technician will be developing relationship with clients and suppliers initially over the phone, so exceptional communication skills are key. They will also be able to explain technicalities in a way that is accessible to those with all levels of understanding.
Relevant skills and experience:
- Fluent French speaker
- Solid experience of providing IT support at a 2nd line level
- Knowledgeable in supporting networking issues, Windows environments, IOS, Linux and Android.
- Experienced in the support of content management software and server experience
- Adept in AV installation, monitoring and troubleshooting
