IT Support Technician required to join a fast-paced help-desk team supporting a reputable finance business at their head office in Darlington.

Employed on a full time, permanent basis, joining an existing IT delivery team, the support technician will form a pivotal role in servicing site-wide divisions with 1st and 2nd line support issues.

Experience within a help-desk environment, working at pace will be essential to perform this role effectively, accompanied by an ITIL qualification to aid the understanding of the operational area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking inbound calls on the help-desk
  • Logging and managing tickets
  • Password re-sets and admin-level configurations and changes
  • Logging accurate data for transfer to 3rd line engineers
  • Desk-side support with applications
  • Printer and laptop setups
  • Installation of anti-virus software and packages
