IT Support Technician required to join a fast-paced help-desk team supporting a reputable finance business at their head office in Darlington.
Employed on a full time, permanent basis, joining an existing IT delivery team, the support technician will form a pivotal role in servicing site-wide divisions with 1st and 2nd line support issues.
Experience within a help-desk environment, working at pace will be essential to perform this role effectively, accompanied by an ITIL qualification to aid the understanding of the operational area.
- Taking inbound calls on the help-desk
- Logging and managing tickets
- Password re-sets and admin-level configurations and changes
- Logging accurate data for transfer to 3rd line engineers
- Desk-side support with applications
- Printer and laptop setups
- Installation of anti-virus software and packages
