1st/ 2nd Line IT Support Engineer required by a reputable, growing Legal firm based in Derby, paying up to £23k, to provide exceptional IT support services to 150+ users across multiple sites. This is an opportunity to get involved in everything from day to day problems, to new site setups, unusual technology integrations and much more, allowing you to hone your skills and learn new things every day.
This is a hands-on technical role. The 1st/ 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will working in a Windows-focused environment, serving as the first point of contact for any tickets into the department, meaning you will need to troubleshoot and support hardware, software, and network issues. As this company continues to grow, you will also get involved with projects such as office relocations and software rollouts. Enhancing user experience is a key focus, so you will be encouraged to share your knowledge, tips and tricks to help people get the most from the IT systems available.
The right 1st/ 2nd Line IT Support Engineer will have gained some working experience already and have some knowledge of MS Office – Including MS Teams, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware, and software installation and user training. Personality and ambition is key – the right candidate will be enthusiastic about IT and eager to learn new things. Ideally, candidates will have access to a car, though this is not essential.
